Another in my hall of bodged up shame.  However, lessons are always learned.  I have new ideas for stabilizing temps on my next attempt.  As for the camera and film loading.  Unlike the later Lubitels - the 166B, built during the late Soviet era, did not have masking for 35mm.  All I did was pop the camera, two empty 120 spindles, a small pair of scissors, and a Poundland 35mm film into the film changing bag.  I rolled out the film from it's cassette.  Snipped it off, then carefully rolled it onto the 120 spindle, roughly central by feel.  Then loaded the camera - pulling the film onto the top spindle.  Camera shut (red window taped over).  I rolled two full turns between exposures, but it wasted film.  Next attempt I'll forward by one and a half full rotations.
