Coursing Through 2

            "Coursing Through 2:" When I stumbled upon this scene along Fossil Creek the other week, a sense of familiarity took over, and I knew that a number of years ago, I had taken a similar picture. What I didn't remember until returning home to check my files was that incidentally it was on the exact same date, separated by 6 years! Even more interesting is how much less fall-like my first image taken here looked; all the trees were still vibrant green and looked like they were sporting their summer hues, whereas when I went this year, fall foliage was in full swing! This year's fall color change in Arizona seemed to start later than usual with warmer temperatures to start the season, but then colder than normal temperatures seemed to hasten it along much quicker than normal, which is possibly why there was such a contrasted difference between what I saw on the same date all those years apart.
