2023 - Portugal - 475 - Lisbon - 99 of 125 - Museu Calouste Gulbenkian - 3 of 5 - Fo Dog Sculptures

            We are in the Calouste Gulbenkian Museum.  Took a zillion photos but will limit it to 4.  If you go to Lisbon, the museum visit would be a recommendation.

The museum art gallery of China and Japan has a large number of porcelains, hard stones, lacquered objects and fabrics of the Qing dynasty including this pair of Lions or "Fo Dogs" from China, c.1700-1720, Kangxi period, Qing Dynasty.

The Calouste Sarkis Gulbenkian Collection is one of the most important private collections in the world, making the Museum one of the most renowned in Portugal.
