2016 - New York City - Empire State City View

            One of the coupons in our Costco NYC  CityPASS book was for a ride up the Empire Sate building.  We went first thing in the morning to beat the crowds.  

Unfortunately it was the worst morning of our weeks visit.  It was so hot and so humid the sky was a hazy mess so shitty photos only.  So one shot, looking down from the 86th floor of the dense forest of high rises below.

The green space top left is Madison Square Park. The triangle building just past the park is the 1902 built Flatiron Building.  The round tan structures on the top of many buildings are potable water supply tanks.
