Do not expect breakfast or anybother meal at Fergies for some time.  The is closed due to a fire of unknown cause.
The owner of Fergie's Cafe says the restaurant will be re-opened as soon as possible following a devestating fire early Tuesday morning.
Firefighters were called to the scene on Squamish Valley Road just around 4:45 a.m. on Tuesday morning 03 April.

North of Brakendale BC on the Cheakamus River is the water rafting resort of Sunwolf.  At the bridge located on the banks of the river at Sunwolf  is Fergie's Cafe.

Originally Fergie’s Lodge, a historic meeting spot for Brackendale fisherman, this tiny cafe at Sunwolf is always slammed. Sunwolf owners Jess and Jake Freese put their hearts into Fergie’s homey atmosphere and menu. Locals and visitors turn up to devour big-boned breakfast and lunch dishes such as house-made sausages, buttermilk biscuits and pulled-pork bennys.  In winter, they cozy up to the cafe’s fireplace. In summer, the front porch and Cheakamus riverbank are also full of diners.

Fergie's Cafe is open Thursday to Sunday, 8am - 4pm during the winter
and daily during the summer for fabulous breakfasts and lunches.

Why "Fergie's"? Well, before Sunwolf ever existed, it was a very well-known fishing hotspot called Fergie's Lodge. Fishermen came from all over BC and northwestern Washington to fish the Cheakamus, Squamish and Ashlu rivers for Salmon, Steelhead and Char. Today, people are still coming to these rivers for the fishing, so why not give them something to relate to? Fergie's Cafe it is!

Fergie's is located at Sunwolf so whether you're looking for BC's best Whitewater rafting, fishing or just a relaxing night in one of our riverside cabins, our year round resort, just 45 minutes from Downtown Vancouver & 30 minutes from Whistler, is the perfect place to go!
