Howard No 3 at King Street - a photo on Flickriver

            The Howard No 3 movement for the King Street Station clock tower in Seattle. It is driven by an electric motor, although originally it was powered by a gravity escapement.

In 1957 an IBM electric mechanism was put in place, which had failed by the 1990s. This was recently replaced with a new electric mechanism.
