Stolen Moments of Light - a photo on Flickriver

I've just started my review of the Tamron 15-30mm f/2.8 VC G2 lens (A041), which I have no doubt will be an excellent lens. Unfortunately the weather has been consistently grey, cold, flat, and lifeless - hardly the conditions for showing off what a lens can do. But yesterday morning before the grey day was fully formed, I saw a brief window where light from the east shot underneath the cloud cover and filled the tops of the trees with some light and color. I was able to grab a few interesting shots in the roughly 10 minute window, including this one. Even on a grey day there are some stolen moments of light that can make the world beautiful.
