Dog Days of Summer (Sigma 24-35 f/2 ART)

I'm in the process of reviewing a really unique lens. The Sigma 24-35mm f/2 ART can scarcely be called a zoom lens because of its very narrow zoom range. Think of it more as very, very good 24mm, 28mm, and 35mm f/2 prime lenses in one housing. It does a great job with everything that I've thrown at it so far, but my question will be if it deserves purchase over a good (and much smaller) 35mm prime or the purchase of a 24-70mm f/2.8 zoom. Ahh, the dog days of summer - decisions, decisions. I've given this shot some vintage flair thanks to the beta build of the upcoming Exposure 8.
