Lightning and fishing - a photo on Flickriver

            L’Asie de nuit nous offre un son et lumière… sans le son. Les lumières des villes resplendissent - on les devine même sous les nuages. Quelques éclairs au passage, et des bateaux de pêche en mer : selon Aki, les points verts sont des éclairages de navires utilisant cette couleur pour pêcher le calamar !

Asia at night with so much to see! City lights shine clearly but some cities are under clouds so their light is diffused. Lightning strikes flash through the night and those small dots are fishing boats attracting their catch. Aki tells me the green dots are specific for the plankton that squid like to eat!
