Agastache Trifecta - a photo on Flickriver

Agastache Trifecta

            I sat in a garden path in the early morning light looking for a worthy subject to capture with my new lens acquisition.  A bit of light on Agastache aurantiaca 'Coronado' proved to be a worthy subject.  This colorful dry garden plant grew as a volunteer from the center of a large cottonwood stump.  It is a glorious specimen that sprouts from the stump like a vase of exquisite flowers on a pedestal.
