Liverline, Liverpool GDM 996X - a photo on Flickriver

            I am not sure if I ever managed to get a better shot of this vehicle with Liverline - it was their only coach, and it only saw limited use on private hires such as this, so it was a case of grabbing it when I came across it. 

This was always a coach that couldn't stop being interesting - it was one of the original pair of PSU5 Leopards to hit the UK roads in 1971 with Biss, Bishops Stortford, with a Van Hool Vistadome body, and then received this new Dominant III body for Barry Cooper in 1982, but never entered service with them, instead moving down the road to PG Travel, Middlewich (see Comments below). 

Liverline acquired it in 1988, and ran it like this until 1992, when it received a new Willowbrook Warrior bus body, and had its back end lopped off to accommodate it ! More on its later life in another chapter ....
