L'église date des XIIe et XIIIe siècles ; Elle fut au Moyen âge la possession des moines de l'abbaye de Bourg-Moyen à Blois.

La magnifique tour du clocher, œuvre de Jean de Beauce, date de 1524.

Jehan Texier, connu sous le nom de Jehan de Beauce est un architecte qui a été chargé en 1506 de reconstruire le clocher nord de la Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Chartres détruit par la foudre le 26 juillet 1506.
Jehan de Beauce a également participé à la construction de l'abbaye de la Trinité de Vendôme.
Il est mort à Chartres en 1529.

The church dates from the twelfth and thirteenth centuries in the Middle Ages it was the possession of the monks of the Abbey of Bourg-Medium to Blois.

The magnificent bell tower, designed by Jean de Beauce, date from 1524.

Jehan Texier, known as Jehan de Beauce is an architect who was commissioned in 1506 to rebuild the north tower of the Cathedral of Notre-Dame de Chartres destroyed by lightning July 26, 1506.
Jehan de Beauce also participated in the construction of the abbey of the Trinity of Vendôme.
He died at Chartres in 1529.
