Boating on Lake Koocanusa - a photo on Flickriver

            In early August, I drove along a stretch of the Lake Koocanusa shoreline in Montana.  This reservoir, created by the construction of the Libby Dam on the Kootenai River in 1972, lies in both British Columbia in Canada and the state of Montana in the United States. With its blue waters and mountains adjacent to its shorelines, it is simply beautiful!
