Bismarckturm Stuttgart - a photo on Flickriver

            Taken with a Kiev 60 / Carl Zeiss Jena Flektogon 1Q 4/50 on expired ADOX CMS 20 II film, exposed at ISO 20 and developed in also expired ADOX Adotech II developer.

An interesting film, but not for the faint hearted. First of all it has to be exposed at ISO 12 or ISO 20; that will require a tripod even in broad daylight (I used my Sirui for this) if you are not using a high speed lens wide open (which I wouldn't want shooting a landscape or architecture). If you are shooting with a wide angle lens, you often will be limited anyway to max F 4 on a medium format camera. Then you will have to use the special developer (Adotech) to develop the pictures. High contrast can be an issue with this type of film (I quite like the effect however) and my film was extremely curly after development. But as mentioned above, this could be a thing with expired film of this kind. But I can confirm what I read on reviews: The clear material of the negatives is great, but seems to be prone to visible water drops. Still: I quite like the film and will take some of it on a trip to Ireland in the summer. Let's see how that goes :-)
