Day 196 of 365: Idaho anger management

            If I didn’t know better, I would have sworn Murphy himself was right there beside me, holding my hand, and whispering all of his wonderful diminutive laws into my ear, like sweet little “Oh there something’s”, today.  

I’d originally set this shot up as a giggle, round about 8 a.m. or so this morning, because while there was work to be done, there didn’t seem to be any genuine hurry in get to it.   The weather was lousy, the bays were empty, I’d sent most of my crew home for the day.  And on top of all of that.  I was in a pretty good mood.  

Despite the fact that the first task of the day was to prep our snow plow for service, I didn't figure this day was going to have much to offer me that I couldn't shrug my shoulders at and nonchalantly ad "and?".  At the time we were busy trying to replace the skids and blades on the plow itself, and for some strange reason, nothing wanted to budge.  After a few good tugs and a good manner of cussing I guess you could say that I drew on inspiration, and at the time it seemed like a particularly good idea to quote and incorporate ole Teddy bear’s adage of “Walk softly, and carry a big stick.”…Or I guess In my case, a wench bar. 

Ironically, and many hours later. Unbeknownst to me at the time.  This quick grab of a shot, pretty much captured my entire day in a single frame.  Damn frustrating.  While it had only taken a few hours to prep, and replace the skids and plates, there was still a leaking rear hub to tend to.  The plow was a problem.  The leaky hub was much easier.  Everything that happened after words and in between…Well lets just say, a big stick would have been nice, but wouldn’t have alleviated much.
