Smoky with Scruby stuck in the sand on way to Ooldea Soak, still had the tyres up a bit!

We had just been following Anthony on the stony track until it got to the sand to the north of the Trans Line..

We walked the last one & half kms to the soak after the dunes got too soft with the trailer attached! With the tyres down to 20, we had no trouble continuing for a few 100m to a spot we could turn around. Forgot to get some video of the dig.

Found a tektite on this section, amazing that it was exposed on the surface in the middle of track after we walked over it on the way in, and you travelled it.

The water carters must have spread burnt coal along the soft ridge tops, as there was coal or charcoal on the ridges.
