            Increasingly, our aging electrical infrastructure threatens power reliability. This poses significant challenges and concerns as much of our electrical infrastructure is outdated and was built several decades ago. Many power grids, transmission lines, and distribution systems were designed with a lifespan of 50 years or less, and they are now operating beyond their intended life expectancy. 

The demand for electricity has been steadily rising due to population growth, urbanization, and technological advancements including the EV revolution. Our aging infrastructure struggles to cope with this increased demand, resulting in power outages, blackouts, and system failures.

Addressing the aging electrical infrastructure requires a comprehensive approach involving increased investment in infrastructure upgrades, grid modernization, renewable energy, nuclear, enhanced resilience planning, and improved cybersecurity measures.
