47305 860607 Sheffield 1043 Skeg-Shef Sharpen

            The original design specification for the Brush Type 4 required 81 locos being built without any provision for train heat in the number series D1782-D1836 & D1875-D1900 later 47301-381. As a result of this they were always rare on passenger services, mainly confined to the summer no heat months,with some being rarer than others.
On a typical passenger use of a Tinsley based engine 47305 stands at Sheffield having arrived with the 1043 Skegness-Sheffield on 7th June 1986
