Someone's Watching You

Do you ever have the feeling that someone is watching you?
You’re in the kitchen on a winter’s late night evening
Making a midnight snack and a cup of hot milk in hopes of a good nights sleep
When that creepy feeling comes over you again
Skimming the room nervously feeling a tad silly, yet continuing

You look

You’re in your bedroom getting ready for sleep
While slipping off your clothes that eerie feeling creeps over you again
Hastily you dress taking a double look at the drapes making certain they are drawn
A restless night, feeling as though someone, or some thing is watching you

You toss and turn and thrash about, your covers a tangled mess

When morning light peeks in the room, fear disappears and you’re left feeling the fool
Until the same following evening when it resurfaces
And once again you jump when a knock sounds at the front door
Thinking how silly you’ve been worrying about nothing after paying the newspaper boy

You waltz into the living room where you quickly turn on the living room light

When once again you sense you’re being watched.
