Purthcurno: Week 10 of 52 - a photo on Flickriver

            My birthday week.  On the Monday with the weather not being fantastic, I walked to Carbis Bay and saw the awful building that they have done in front of hotel.  On Tues, my birthday, with the weather good, I got up early and drove to Land's End where I had reached in the SWCP.  I parked up and walked along the south coast to Porthcurno.  After walking from Land's End to Porthcurno, I arrived at my destination just five minutes before the bus to take me back to where my car was parked (Land's End), I drove back to Porthcurno and spent a glorious hour in the sun on the beach, taking photos, listening to the sea, watching the waves and soaking in the warm sun.   I then decamped to Godolphin Arms in Marazion for a nice lunch.  In the evening I watched Oscar winning The Shape of Water.  On Wednesday I visited the Tate to look at the new extension.  On Thursday I drove home.  On Friday I was back to work and on Saturday, after an Open Day in Cranfield, Sarah and I went to visit her parents, returning on Mother's Day in time to look in on my mum.
