The Grocer [explored] - a photo on Flickriver

            Find this very nice grocer at his workplace today, a Saturday morning, with the streets almost empty.
A friend of mine asked to take some photos in the grocery, which was really interesting, so I took the chance and joined him.
After some words with the owner, I asked him to take a photo, to which he said yes. I guess I had caught in the photo some of his sadness when he said "This was my grandfather and my father's work. Now it's mine but after I get retired, this will be over and probably taken by a chinese or an indian".
That really is a shame, to lose such a cultural and magnificent stores as this one.

The grocery is located just behind of "Sé de Lisboa", and its name is "Casa Alves - A melhor do Bairro" if you want to make a visit and buy some stuff :)
