            Another day, another humble improvised lunch made with the few fresh ingredients that I still have available at home. Hopefully I'll manage to do some actual grocery shopping tomorrow!

These are shirataki noodles that have been tossed in seasoned oil to add a bit of extra flavour and to keep them from sticking together. They will be mixed in with the finely sliced vegetables (cucumber, yellow tomatoes, green onion), the egg and the sesame-soy sauce once it's time for lunch.

For dessert I made a few fragrant tea-infused apricots. This is a very simple compote-type dish where you just put a bunch of dried apricots in freshly brewed tea and leave them to soak for at least half a day. I usually add a sprinkle of cinnamon and clove to the tea.
