Winter Reflections

Hi everyone, yes, I'm back in business. I hope to post new material in the coming weeks and months on a daily basis: New own photographs and reproductions from postcards and book illustrations, if they fit into the story or range.

In the last two months I did not have (or take) time to be active on Flickr. Besides several demanding activities also a lack of joy and urgency towards Flickr hold be back from this medium. I needed some mental reflection.
I hope this is now past tense. Within some weeks Spring will be back in the air, and I'm looking forward to show you new contributions.
By the way: still best wishes for 2024 to you !!

In the second half of the 19th century, the old defensive strongholds around the old center of Amsterdam were demolished. The vacant site created space for prestigious residential blocks.
