San Francisco Zoomin' Cable Car - a photo on Flickriver

Oh, the cable cars. The quintessential San Fran tourist experience. Technically, they are a National Monument. However, the $5 far (no matter how far you're going), cramped quarters, and pushy tourists (hey, I'm a tourist too but I wait my turn!) trying to squeeze on the car in front of you when you've been waiting twenty minutes for one to come by not at capacity, all made it a rather disappointing experience. At least I can say I've rode one though, if that's worth anything.
