The Hepburn Building - a photo on Flickriver

Named for Katharine Hepburn, one of MGM's most acclaimed actresses, this building sits on the Sony Pictures Studios Lot, who bought the lot from MGM in the 1980s. I admit my main motivation for wanting to tour the Sony lot was to walk in the same steps as some of the great MGM stars of Hollywood's Golden era, among them Hepburn herself, as well as Judy Garland, Mickey Rooney, Gene Kelly, Elizabeth Taylor, Debbie Reynolds, and Fred Astaire, just to name a few! Sadly, of those greats, only Debbie Reynolds is still with us today, but we have all of their films (and Debbie's too!) to enjoy for all posterity.
