1st World War Burial Ground - a photo on Flickriver

            No description on this but it appears to be a 1st world war burial ground

I am struggling to read the words - on the wooden cross it appears to give a date of death as being 15th Aug 1916 and the name Collins. I might be misreading this but there is a record on Ancestry for a 2nd Lt N L Collins who died 15th Aug 1916. He was the son of a Rev Collins from Lydd Kent. This might fit in with some of the other photos from Kent in the album . Then again might be putting 2 and 2 together and making 5!

The photo album was a present from Aileen  to her Uncle. She was living at St Leonards on Sea dated Sept 12th 1921

It is a Bedouin Album by Johnson of London
