In Savudrija, an der Nordwestspitze von Istrien, ist es offenbar üblich, Boote nach Gebrauch per Flaschenzug aus dem Wasser in die Höhe zu ziehen. So sind sie vor Beschädigungen durch raue See mit hohem Wellengang geschützt und für die Zukunft gesichert einsatzfähig. Euch, liebe flickr Fotofreunde, wünsche ich, dass ihr rechtzeitig Eure Habe ebenso gut abgesichert habt und dass 2024 ein möglichst ruhiges Jahr mit so viel Frieden wird, wie dieses abendliche Meeres-Foto vermittelt ! 

In Savudrija, on the north-western tip of Istria, it is obviously customary to hoist boats out of the water after use. This protects them from damage caused by rough seas with high waves and that they are for sure ready for use in the future. I wish you, dear flickr photo friends, that you have secured your belongings just as well in time and that 2024 will be as calm a year as possible with as much peace as this evening sea photo conveys !
