System Patrol Group 37 of Her Majesty's Navy

System Patrol Group 37 of Her Majesty's Royal Navy is assigned to patrol the Epsilon Perseus star system.

About 4 months ago I'd been working on a microscale capital ship loosely based off of this concept art by Talros and only had the front half in a workable state, but I really wasn't liking how it was progressing.

Then a few weeks back, Red Spacecat posted his latest micro build the EML Frigate, and I absolutely loved it! I adapted the engine design from the EML Frigate onto my work in progress to create the HMS Agincourt, a Cyrene-class Escort Frigate. I also decided to incorporate some of Red Spacecat's great detailing features like the use of the white mixel tooth tiles for the sensor platform aft of the bridge. Hopefully it looks like it fits in with his universe!

I was liking how the Agincourt came out so much, that I decided to build a couple smaller craft to accompany it. First up was the triangular shaped HMS Trent. I think of this ship as an Orbital Combat Ship (OCS) similar to the current wet navy Littoral Combat Ship (LCS). A smaller combatant designed to operate in close proximity to shore. In this case, close to a planet's orbital area. I figure the triangular hull shape gives the ship better performance transitioning between space and atmospheric flight.

The HMS Daring was a more straight forward application of matching the Agincourt's design cues in a smaller package and using some of my normal lamp holder techniques.

The HMS Phobos was actually built back in 2015 as a tiny microscale version of Red Spacecat's Feros tanker. I realized that the color selection and stickers were an exact match for what I had done on the other ships, so included it here. I think it fits in rather well!
