Dark blue - a photo on Flickriver

Dark blue

            From a series of shots I got with the Sony a57.

Well, sunset was almost gone. But for some reason I liked how the cloudy sky far from the coast gave this shot an interesting setting. The sea was relatively calm, the sky was dark blue, the tide was low, so we were standing on the wet sand. Reflections from the wet sand helped to get a near complete dark blue scene. The sun on the other hand, gave these guys  some warm tone to their skin, contributing for a good contrast compared to the rest of the scene.
