Curbar Telephone Box - a photo on Flickriver

            Curbar is a village and civil parish in the Derbyshire Dales district of Derbyshire, England. The population based on the 2011 Census was 417. Curbar is situated a mile north of Baslow, close to Calver on the A623. The village has a street with the highest average house value in Derbyshire.

The iconic "Jubilee" K6 red public payphone box, made in 1937 shortly after the accession of King George VI, was "adopted" by the Parish Council for a nominal fee of £1 when British Telecom decided in 2010 to disconnect unprofitable rural telephone boxes. A team of villagers has contributed to its restoration and conversion to a village information point.

This is a hypertriple projection of a spherical panorama stitched from 9 frames using PTGui. The equirectangular projection was converted to hypertriple using the Flexify2 Photoshop plugin.
