Waiting to See What They Caught at the Big O - August 1978 - Shot on Film

            It's been a long time since I took this photo, but I think there were fish in this "cement pond" at the Big O fairgrounds. I don't know if there were trout, or what kind of fish were in there, but the two kids were putting a lot of effort into catching them. The adult (their dad?) no doubt acted as sidewalk supervisor. I'm not sure why I centered him in the frame; maybe it was the same reason I wanted to mess around with the helicopter and frame it the way I did then. I was a lot younger then, not having much professional experience, and willing to try any silly thing that came to mind with my camera.

This photo was taken with a Vivitar 400 S/L camera, using a Vivitar 28mm lens, recording it on Eastman Kodak 5247 motion picture negative, rated at ASA 100, utilizing a No. 85 filter so the ASA is 64. I don't remember my f/stop, but I think it was either f/11 or f/16, or somewhere in between.
