Tower in the trees

'The most terrifying tower in Britain' according to Messrs Headly and Meulencamp in their Follies book. Admittedly they visited quite some time ago but really, are you sure chaps? I thought it looked quite sweet with it's St George cross fluttering gaily in the breeze. Mind you, looking into the history of the tower and its builder, i can see how some people might be a bit nervous about it. More about that later.
Once again, the 45/200 lens came in handy for this shot
