3, 2, 1, Lift Off!

            Trying to get a better view i wandered down the road and on to the Eley Road Industrial Estate and ended up down a dark, dank, little side road, lined with what appeared to be breaker's yards as far as i could tell in the gloom. Tripod in hand, i gingerly picked my way through the minefield of water filled potholes till i reached the last yard at the end of the road. I was greeted by a very enthusiastic guard dog, fortunately on the other side of a stout fence, and a somewhat sceptical night watchman who assured me the dog was noisy but harmless (mainly because of the fence, i suspect) and after having a quick squint at my camera and official looking hi-viz jacket, decided i wasn't worth letting his tea get cold for and went back inside, leaving me to admire the view. Still not quite what i was after but it would just have to do. It was only once i got home and had a look at the pictures on my computer that i realised what this one reminded me of. I assure you, any perceived cleverness is entirely accidental, or possibly my subconscious is better with a camera than than the rest of me is.
