Off The Chain

            A macro view of a coiled-up silver chain necklace on a reflective surface with a colorful background. The scene represents a span of 1¾ - inches. 

Strobist/technical info: 
The scene was illuminated by two Nikon SB900 speedlights positioned 45° CL/CR, one -foot above and two-feet away from the subject. The speedlights were fired in Manual mode @ 1⁄16 power through Neewer 24" x 24" soft boxes. 

An LED flashlight was shown CL on the background for an exposure of 1⁄13s to create the bokeh balls. 

The SB900s were triggered by three PocketWizard Plus X triggers. 

Lens: Helios 44M-4 f2/58mm with a 36mm extension tube attached.
