El novio

            Otro día con la cámara el frente y los pensamientos detrás del lente, nos detuvimos ante el primer puente que cruza un pequeño arroyo, cuando de pronto una pequeña carreta tirada por un caballo pasa frente a mi.

Sobre esta carreta tres personas que evidentemente habían estado disfrutando de alguna fiesta de sábado, una de ellas me dijo, Granma, Trabajadores, El Guerrillero (todos periodicos de Cuba), como me negue ante todas  sus sugerencias entonces me dijeron.... trata de publicarlo en internet, no seas malo con él, mira que no tiene novia.

El supuesto galán me miró fijamente y me dijo... no importa si me buscas novia o no, ven otro día y nos damos unos palos... (tomarse unos tragos)

Sonrío brevemente, escucho el click de la cámara y siguió su paso junto a los dos amigos que lo acompañaban sonriendo. Ni siquiera tuve chance de preguntar su nombre.

No podré cumplir con el pedido de su amiga para buscarle alguna novia, pero al menos cumplí con su deseo de publicarlo en internet. 

Another day with the camera at front and the thoughts behind the lens, we stopped at the first bridge crossing a small stream, when suddenly a small cart pulled by a horse passed in front of us.

Over this wagon three people who obviously had been enjoying an early Saturday party, one of them told me, Granma, Trabajadores, El Guerrillero (all three of them are newspapers in Cuba), as I refused all suggestions then I was told .... try to post it on internet, do not be mean to him, look at him, he doesn´t have a girlfriend.

The alleged beau stared at me and said ... no matter whether or not you look a girlfriend, come another day and we sticks ... (have few drinks)

He smiled briefly and as soon as the click of the camera make its sound, he started and followed its path with the two others friends laughing . He did not give me time to ask for his name.

I can not meet her friend request of looking for a girlfriend, but at least I meet her wishes to publish his photo on the Internet.
