ADOR CHASING IN AND AROUND CLEWISTON, FL

            When Henry Dell came to visit in October of last year, he lite a fire under SFRM about chasing U.S. Sugar Corp. Located in western PB and Hendry counties, the industrial railroad's main purpose is to move sugar cane to the mill in Clewiston during the harvest season. The season starts in October and ends in April the following year. Back in October Henry along with Mike, Rudy and Myself would make a day of chasing trains in Sugarland and had a fruitful trip. Since then Mike, Rudy, Tolga and I have all revisited the area on more then one occasion. Henry had always wanted to return to catch more of USSC and in February of this year an opportunity presented itself. Henry and younger brother Colin would be coming down to renew passports and set aside a day to chase. Mike nor Rudy could make the trip this time due to work conflicts. With TC2 already decommissioned, we would pile in to the TC3. The Chevy was not quite ready for chasing and the weather was not optimal either but we would make the most of it. Colin had never been in USSC country before so this was all new to him. Henry wanted as many shots of the venerable USSC/SCFX GP11's as he could get and as shown above would not be disappointed.
