Paddle Boards & Kayaking - a photo on Flickriver

            A popular spot along the Alouette River in Maple Ridge BC.  There were many out that day but it was not crowed.It's a tidal river & today water level was calm and fairly high.
One of the good places in Metro Vancouver where you can get views of the water, mountains, farmlands,  and spot all kinds of wildlife. 
Herons, Hawks, owls, and hummingbirds are here and so is the occasional bear or coyote but they are rarely seen if people are about. 
Recreation is the area in addition to paddling , is a bike path on either side. Many ride , walk, take their dogs for a run , and even push strollers with young kids.
