Times change, immortals adapt - a photo on Flickriver

And so there is a new character again, my multiverse keeps expanding. xD As usual, she doesn't have a name yet, because I rarely give names to my characters. Well, during the move I accidentally threw away the notebook in which I wrote down the names I collected for writing purposes for years, and I still didn't start the new list, because the lost one was so good, it can't be replaced, so...

She was inspired by multiple sources, but mostly the minifigures - Lavaria is such an awesome minifigure, but she wears a hood all the time, which was cool at the time of the release, but recently LEGO started to give every character with a headgear a separate hair piece, so now it feels like a missed opportunity to get hair with horns. *sighs as Aries* Anyway, I wondered what her human persona may look like, if she was not Lavaria from the series, but someone else. Then I remembered about the rare minifigure from the Batman series, and it all clicked. :) Additional sources of inspiration were "the Fairy Patroness of Shopaholics" by vir-a-cocha (really impressive build, though his character is not actually a demon) and Joanne from YouTube sketch series by Stanzi (she's hilarious), though as I said, she's neither Lavaria, nor Fairy or Joanne, just an entirely different character.

The idea came in January, the orders with the minifigures were made in the end of the month and arrived in February, but at that time I already switched my focus to other ideas. I supposed to take the picture two weeks ago and post it on Friday (well, I'm trying to return to more comfortable posting schedule, but it seems to be extremely hard if the picture is not prepared in advance), but of course, a lot of things were going on, so I took the pictures on Friday (it could be Thursday, but I found out my glue expired and had to buy a new one), but was too tired to finish them.

This is also my first not-painting custom. Initially, I cut the horns twice shorter than in the final picture, but the part is too thin (unlike the imp horns from collectible minifigures), and when cut short, it looks too straight for a horn, so I had to cut it longer to show the suitable curve. I have colored clay, but I wanted to use the original parts and to be sure it can be glued. Well, actually, it's not glued well, because the horns are made of rubber, so I made a special box to keep it untouched by anything. I made a custom for two hair styles - this one and long ponytail, which looked better in my opinion, but I couldn't use it with wings for the true form minifigure, so I used short style for the character, but I have a possible option for switching in different scenes.
