Thuxton Station Past and Present - a photo on Flickriver

Thuxton station seen from T3 signal (which is about 10ft shorter than the earlier signal) on 21st December 2016. 45133 is seen passing on a 'Lapland Express' Santa train on what is now the preserved Mid-Norfolk Railway.

It is nice to see the decline of the railways in the 1960s reversed today, with the double track restored. The change in the number of trees is also notable. Other than the station building (now extended as a private house), the left hand railway track and the gradient post (next to the signalbox), everything else in the scene has changed drastically.
