UP SP 1996 Broad Boulevard Cuyahoga Falls CSX Q349 10/30/18

            Tuesday morning, word spread that UP 1996 was on the point of Q349 out of Cumberland. As soon as I heard they were stuck waiting on MoW to clear up in Pittsburgh, it became clear to me Q349 would make a night run across Ohio. 

I checked out a few crosings in my area, but the Broad Boulevard crossing in the Falls was the best candidate for a night shot. One of the most dangeous crossings in the county, it is covered with streetlights to help motorists see the tracks (though it is also a quiet zone...). Headlights from stopped traffic helped me out, but with 50mph track speed through here, I had to do a pan shot. Glad to be able to catch it despite the late night run.
