"BV4 - Centaurea Montana Trio" by Patti Deters. Three blue blooming flowers are placed in a row in small white bud vases and photographed on a white background. A simple light grey oil paint texture has been applied to create this minimalist painterly artwork. Centaurea Montana plants are also known as Mountain Bluet, Perennial Bachelor's Button, or Perennial Cornflower. They are an easy care native wildflower plant and do well in my Minnesota garden. I like the personality that the hairy stems and long green leaves give the little flowers once they are placed in a vase.
