110107_1008_Toton

            110107 is seen here in the middle of a rake of empty, MHA, MTA mineral open wagons in the Down yard at Toton Yard, 22nd August 2010. Built in 1977 at Ashford (lot 3909) it is one of eight hundred air braked open merchandise/steel wagons, to diagram OB001A built to replace vacuum braked tube wagons. Its livery is interesting as it seems to be a mix of the latter day British Rail departmental grey with the top two planks forming a yellow band with a few planks and a door in EWS maroon.
