DB Track measurer Cl 726 MUC 5-27-16 2

            Two Deutsche Bahn (German Rail) track measuring  cars, Class 726, sit in the München Hauptbahnhopf (Munich Main Rail Station) on a subsidiary track.  It looks like only one of these is powered, (in this shot, the front car...) probably by a diesel engine.  Taken by a Voigtländer Bessa R4M with a Super-Wide Heliar 15mm ƒ 4.5 Aspherica II lens on Kodak Portra 400 film.  

Scanned into computer by an Epson V700, and the Epson software.

The poster, not being a German national, has no exact idea how old these cars are (they aren't in Wikipedia...) - but they look to be originally made in the 1950's or 60's... and probably reconstructed out of railbuses in the 1970's... posting in the "Classic train" type groups will be based on this...

Needless to say, (but I will anyway!) these are MOW (Maintenance of Way) equipment

Also seen, over on the right of frame, is an ICE-1 power car... and a DB Regio train entering the station on the left.
