            (1912 – 2003) was a French nurse, illustrator, and a resistance member during World War II. She is known for her drawings from the Ravensbrück concentration camp, which were also used as evidence at the first Ravensbrück Trials in 1946. 

Infirmière, Violette Lecoq (1912-2003) soigne les prisonniers de guerre français à partir de 1939. Elle est arrêtée à Paris pour faits de résistance, puis déportée à Ravensbrück en octobre 1943. À compter de 1944, elle est détenue infirmière au Revier. Le soir, Violette Lecoq dessine. Sa motivation est de « rassembler des preuves pour après ». À son retour, elle étudie les arts graphiques à l’École des beaux-arts de Paris et exécute une série de dessins à la plume sur ses expériences à Ravensbrück. Ceux-ci jouent un rôle important lors des enquêtes préliminaires aux procès de Ravensbrück à Hambourg. Ils sont par la suite plusieurs fois exposés et publiés.
