03400 Prince Rupert, British Columbia 1973

            The north coast of British Columbia, Canada, at Prince Rupert. Third largest natural harbour in the world, if I recall correctly. I was young and on the move; had planted trees that summer near Terrace, then arrived in Rupert and got a job in the local grain elevator. I was there from mid-May to mid-July, and it rained on all but six days (I counted). Still, it was a good time in my life. I learned to play chess there. I was seeing BC for the first time...
