Pentax A 1,7/50 FRes Testchart - a photo on Flickriver

            Das Testposter wurde aus 40-facher Brennweite fotografiert. Somit sind die angegebenen Auflösungen direkt in lp/mm ablesbar.
Da der Bildinhalt bei allen Aufnahmen absolut identisch war, habe ich die aus dem RAW-File entwickelten jpg (100%) verglichen.
Das A 1,7/50 bringt laut Dateigröße seine maximale Auflösung bei Blende 8 und 11.
Die visuelle Beurteilung laut Siemensstern ergäbe (bei mir) die Blenden 5,6 und 8.

This test chart was shot from a distance of 2 meters. This is 40x of the focal length. So i can read the resolution (in linepairs per millimeter) directly from the chart.
Because of the 40x distance the content of all the fotos is exactly the same, and the filesize of the jpg may give an idea of reproduction of all the fine lines.

The file sizes say that the best aperture of the Pentax A 1,7/50 seems to be 8 and 11.
The result of my visual comparison of the Siemensstars is that the best apertures are 5,6 and 8.
