            Estas fotos en las que todo resulta muy fácil y salen tan bien son más peligrosas que aquellas con las que te dejas el alma para conseguirlas. La luz estaba perfecta, el tren era precioso e hizo su aparición a la hora prevista y, además, en ningún momento las nubes amenazaron con arruinar la foto. En ocasiones como esta, un recalcitrante pesimista como yo flaquea en sus convicciones recuperando la ilusión y la esperanza en que todos (o casi todos) los días van a ser tan maravillosos  como este memorable miércoles de septiembre. Y lamentablemente no es así porque, envalentonado con la experiencia, me he embarcado recientemente en catastróficas jornadas ferroviarias en las que tras muchas horas al borde de la vía solo he conseguido una imagen que merezca la pena, precisamente la última que había subido a mi Flickr. Pero el subidón que te proporcionan fotos como estas provoca un enganche que te conduce de nuevo  a la vía y, como  un auténtico yonqui, buscas repetir sensaciones aunque el sentido común y la experiencia  te recuerden una y otra vez lo ingenuo que eres.

These photos in which everything is so easy and turn out so well are more dangerous than those in which you leave your soul to get them. The light was perfect, the train was beautiful and arrived at the scheduled time, and at no point did the clouds threaten to ruin the photo. On occasions like this, a recalcitrant pessimist like me falters in his convictions, recovering the enthusiasm and hope that all (or almost all) days will be as wonderful as this memorable Wednesday in September. And unfortunately this is not the case because, emboldened by the experience, I have recently embarked on catastrophic railway journeys in which after many hours on the side of the track I have only managed to get one worthwhile image, precisely the last one I had uploaded to my Flickr. . But the rush that photos like these give you causes a hook that leads you back to the track and, like a true junkie, you seek to repeat sensations even though common sense and experience remind you again and again how naive you are.
