Also there is a Ghost sign ob the side of the building .
The sign was painted in 1924, Herbert S. Mills China Shop was famous in North America for its fine bone china. So famous that in February 1934, Sara Ann Delano Roosevelt, the mother of U.S. president Franklin D. Roosevelt visited Hamilton, she went to Herbert S Mills to buy china for the White House .... the store closed in 1985
At 11-15 King St. E., Herbert S. Mills China Shop was famous in North America for its fine bone china. So famous that Franklin D. Roosevelt's mother came to the store in the 1930s to buy china for the White House. The store closed in 1983, with a two-year failed attempt to revitalize under new owners after that.
