Flor de loto

            En verano produce flores grandes y de infinidad de formas, con colores que van desde el rosa intenso al blanco puro pasando por el rosa carne y el amarillo. 
La flor de Loto ha sido símbolo de multitud de civilizaciones a lo largo de la historia de la Humanidad. En la civilización egipcia tenía un gran significado, ya que de él emergían multitud de dioses como Ra, dios del Sol, al estar ligada la flor a la aparición y al ocaso del Sol, debido a que sólo está abierta por el día.
La flor del loto en la India simboliza divinidad, fertilidad, riqueza, conocimiento e ilustración, siendo actualmente su símbolo nacional.
