Across the Fields - a photo on Flickriver

Across the Fields

            The sun finally broke through the cloud cover close to the horizon, and created these attractive light and colour effects across the hazy landscape. The four sheep handily added foreground interest, and a sense of scale and distance. Photographed in late August, the tell-tale signs of Autumn creeping in across the grasslands added a touch of yellow and gold to the tall grass seeds.
